A Webster City High School Graduate must earn 50 semester credits
The following specific courses are required to be successfully completed

ENGLISH: 8 semesters

English 9
English 10
English 11
+Two (2) semesters of an elective English course

MATH: 6 semesters

Algebra 1
Geometry
Algebra II, Advanced Algebra II, or College Prep Math

SCIENCE: 6 semesters

General Science
Biology
Chemistry (full year) or Applied Science (1 semester) + 1 science elective

SOCIAL STUDIES: 6 semesters

U.S. History
World Studies
Government (one semester)
Economics which includes Financial Literacy (one semester)

PHYSICAL EDUCATION: 4 semesters

One (1) semester each year

ELECTIVES: 20 Credits
